Do I know what to answer if Jesus asks me the question, 'What do you want me to do?' If I were to meet Jesus face to face right now, and He asks me the question, would I be able to give Him a crystal clear answer? Or would I mumble through the whole time and say, "Jesus, I don't know... I don't know what I want really. All my day, I'm just busy, busy, busy. You know that I barely have time to breathe..."
When Jesus asked this question, there were people who answered what they want very clearly. One mother answered 'In your Kingdom, please let my two sons sit in places of honor next to you, one on your right and the other on your left(Matt 20:21). And the blind man answered 'Rabbi, I want to see'(Mark 10:51).
So was Jesus. Jesus also had clear answers to what they were asking. To the mom, Jesus answered, 'You don't know what you are asking'(Matt 20:22). And gave her sons an opportunity to clarify their want: "Can you drink the cup I am going to drink?"(Matt 20:22). To the blind man, Jesus answered, "Go, your faith has healed you."
It's as if Jesus is directing people's perspective to the next step by asking questions. If you want your sons to be next me, they need to be ready to drink the cup I am about to drink, but are thdy ready? If you want to see, you need to go and live like you can see. Are you ready? Are you ready to live a life like you asked?
The other day, I said I want to be led by love, not pushed by fear. And now, I realize that Jesus is asking me the question, eliciting honest reflection for the next step. "My dear, if you want to be led by love, what do you want me to do? Are you ready to live the life as you asked?"

I want to be a person who expresses and prays exactly what I want now. It's better and better for the words to come out as examples in your writing.
God is love, so I hope you are fully attracted to love. I pray that our hearts' prayers and daily lives will not go separately.

My today's word is 'elicit'.
Through God's words, we can clear our minds and discover what we want for.
When I miss the way which God lead and direct, I just live day and night without considering my mind and soul based on God's words.
Like Emily said in this episode, I simply do things because I do.
But God gentally awakes my spirit and be with me even when I forget His peresence in the midst of my daily life.
I repent for living my life which God gives as an art piece without thinking like robot and for making my greed which is actually in vain my top priority.
God help me to elicit deep longing and need in my soul and He tells me "I can fill your thirst and I am the living water.".

"I simply do things because I do." This type of attitude is something I naturally have. It's when I intentionally calls upon God's name and pray for His presence, we get to have a chance to live a life of godly women's life. Thank you, Andrea, for setting apart your precious time to sit at the table with us :)

My word today is elicit.
Jesus's question lights our minds and elicit what is in our inner most being.
What do you want me to do? What do you want?
Do I really know what I want? Sometimes it's hard to understand my mind and thought even it is mine.
To decide and make choices in our lives we must know what is important and what i want.
I find my answers in the bible , sometimes what I want is not what is best for me. God knows the best answers, even if I don't fully
understand at the time. I find it is not wise to trust my feeling and instinct and thought which changes all the time. I try to build my life on a concrete
ground .But choosing what God wants is not easy also. Making decisions are not easy.

Dear Gen, I truly appreciate your beautiful piece of writing. Let's build our today on the Rock!

*My words today are "routinely"
I was reading blankly because of the flu and I noticed something. "routinely" Jesus asked a question that made us look at everything we felt in our daily lives and help us see what we wanted there. Yes, not in the distant future or in unexpected places, but in the daily life where I am standing now.
My nose and tears are running and I couldn't think of anything while I was in pain. I just hope this time of pain goes by quickly, but that's when I suddenly thought this. Why don't you pray? Why don't you cry because you're sick and share your pain with the Lord? I didn't pray because I felt that this was just my daily life because the flu is a passing disease and I know it will get better naturally over time. I need prayer because it's a serious and heavy subject, a big deal to God, but I didn't feel the need to ask God for help with the flu-like pain I've been going through for a few days.
My thoughts are completely wrong. Does the Lord cure only incurable diseases? No. It is the Lord who gives a clear answer to the most realistic problem: hungry and thirsty. If I hesitate and cry and give you the strength to live our daily lives, we must find the Lord in every moment of our daily lives. I vowed to lay down even my fragile, unsightly, and small feelings honestly to God.
My Lord, fix me. Show me the way. Be with my routine.

Dear &Now, hope you are recovering well from flu :( Dear Lord, may You touch &Now with Your mighty hand and cleanse her body, mind, and soul with the blood of Jesus. May Your peace be the strong rock that she builds her day upon. May Your light fill her every minute so that she will always be a child of You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Word of the Day: Elicit
It truly is a blessing that I am able to live through these days of confusion with the guidance of God's word. That I have a place to leave my worries and fears and regain strength. While listening to today's podcast, I was reminded that God does not gives list of actions that I am forced to do, rather he reveals his plans on the process of our ups and downs.
Yet, I also forget that God's time and plan is completely different from mine-a regrettable one.
In times when my plan (which I assumed that THIS is surely what God led me to do) fail I feel like I'm not good enough and I should have tried harder with keener effort!
But now I know it was His grace in those moments working to elicit obedience and patience so that I may be disciplined to solely rely on him.
Not from my intelligence or past experiences or advises from people, but all ears and heart on Him!
