As I contemplate on God's word there's joy and peace springing up inside my heart. His word is the life!

We have a tendency to focus on the result of our lives. But we also need to contemplate the process. God is watching and pays attention our daily steps which we sometimes regard little things. Our thoughts are different from His. As we contemplate His will and His plan as most important things in our heart, we may experience transformation in His grace.

I thought I could make best of myself by contemplating each and every decision making process. However, I came to realize none of it was worth the effort compare to the devotion and commitment I make before my Christ Jesus. Only through prayer and word from the Bible, I know where I am heading.

Our troubles are giving us an opportunity to live out the faith we claim. As our faith is put to the test through trials, we are called upon to persevere — to keep choosing to trust and rest and find our comfort in God alone. And as we persevere, we find we are “growing up” in our faith. Our roots are going down deeper into God. Joy comes as we contemplate emerging from the suffering as people who have a stability and steadfastness that makes us less easily shaken by difficult circumstances in the future.

Father God, You created my soul. You know every detail of my being. I had prayed for the revival of our Young adult community at church; and You taught me that praying for the revival is not enough by making me meet one specific person who is suffering from betrayal and fraud. When You made me to know her situation, You also made me face the ugliest truth--the fact that I am not the right person for praying. God, I'm so full of self-righteousness. I'm quick to judge others. My words mean nothing for I am an irresponsible person. How can a person like me pray for the revival of the community when I can't even understand or feel the level of agony this one person is having? Lord, but I choose to find joy by contemplating the future when You will make me pray with Your heart.
